Short List of Bills In Congress

Short List of bills in Congress affecting or related to
sex offenses or offenders. UPDATED: 9-9-2011
Hot Button Issues:

There are two bills ( HR-1981 and S-1308 ) which even though they DO NOT directly affect registrants are real hot topics right now. They are proposing a law to FORCE all Internet Service Providers to keep track of every single access to the Internet by ANYONE who accesses the Internet. And WHY? Because the Dep’t of Justice wants that information to search through to see who may be accessing child pornography. If either of these pass, I predict the end of the Internet as we know it today, the costs to access the Internet will skyrocket beyond what many folks can afford.
